Recap of 2010

It’s end of 2010 soon! i read back some of my blog posts and reckon that this year is an amazing one! so, shall we start? ( btw, this post is EXTREMELY long,you may skip this actually =p )

JANUARY

i started my 1st day of 2010 at Shanghai count down-ing. The china people have this belief that on the first day of the year, they have to visit whatever  tower that is tall as it symbolises 步步高升。so, i had my first day visiting the Shanghai oriental tower. Now i do agree that it makes sense because my 2010 has been a fantastic year!! btw, it’s also the first time in my life i saw snow. i know i know im suaku but ,snows are beautiful especially when taking pictures <3

my annual trip to KL before CNY to hunt some new apparels! bought the “banana diet” book that time but in the end i failed to follow the diet routine because it’s required to sleep before 12 a.m. everyday. wtfreak i used to sleep before 12 during my year 1 life but now no more! everytime i texted Bii :”Bii im going to sleep lo,night night” at 12 midnight, his reply would be “Huh? so early? ok ok”. wahhh sleep at 12 midnight is early meh? Bii must be the cause for me in lacking beauty sleep and worse skin condition tsk tsk. =p

FEBRUARY

my very first valentine’s day with Bii. it’s just an ordinary celebration but a memorable one because i managed to surprise him with the present! he totally stunned when looking at the Puma i bought for him. btw, there’s a little secret here, the Puma he’s wearing now it’s not the original one that i bought for him because i bought the wrong size and there’s no more size of his anymore fml. haha so siasui leh wrong shoes size even though i already checked on his shoes before. we went to the shop for more than 3 times to check on any new arrivals that have his size in the end i become so paiseh to step in anymore.

had my first visit to 东禅寺 too! all these while i’ve heard of how famous of their light decorations every year and finally i had the chance to pay a visit. i learned quite a lot of religion lesson during the trip. you know what? be it religious or environmental friendly, i started to not consuming beef anymore. (if you google online you will know many studies are indicating that cows and swine could be the world’s largest greenhouse gas producers since methane has several times the effect as CO2.) beef used to be my favourite so you can imagine how tough for me to stop this habit. im gald i made  it and i am loving vegetarian restaurants more. =)

MARCH

Sister’s second graduation convo! hehe it’s the second one because the first one was advanced dip’s convo and now this is degree’s convo. also the first time stepping into First World hotel. it will be my convo so soon, hoping i could maintain my cgpa so that my convo will be a more grateful one =)

APRIL

my N-th trip to Hatyai!! haha seriously, if you are asking me to count how many times i’ve been there, all i can tell you is, more than 10 times. once my whole family were crazy over hatyai we been there twice a year. no more tourist photo visiting this temple that market. only makan,shopping and massage. indeed the cheapest method to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. i can have my McD samurai pork burger, endless tomyam soup and moreee snacks. i miss  there already =(

my first prom night at UTAR! erm wouldnt say it’s a nice one but with the amound of money you paid, you cant expect much. =)  yet it is still a memorable one because get to doll up and take pictures with friends.

MAY

KL trip with Bii and friends. 3 couples staying at a rented condo. had so much fun and finally i went to full house for the first time. haha btw it’s the one and only time until now too. never really shopped but i remember that i ate a lot. i mean, real lot. but kind of miss the condo because it’s so classy wtfreak. even the living room has got two air conditioners.

first ever trip with the secret-base gang!! the most memorable genting trip hehe! the moment how me and cheng cheated wing and xu that we wanted to go shopping and left them touring around genting. we actually went to buy birthday presents for both of them and ended up with the couple tees four of us have. please remember , “we are always happy and together” my secret-base gang . i really wish for next trip to come asap <3

JUNE

Bii’s 21st! the first birthday i celebrated with him. used up whole sem break to think of what surprise i wanted to give him. actually the duckie huge birthday card was not what i expected first. my first experiment failed and wasted one whole bunch of LED lights. this was actually an alternative card. a not so satisfying one for me but i hope Bii love the surprise and the present i gave him. haha his birthday is coming in 6 months time what to do that time any suggestions? LOL.

mysterious prom night held at Utar Heritage Hall. another not so successful prom night. i love the FBF night more because there are live music band ! but we can see soooo many leng luis model wearing glamorous dress. how i wish i have got their body but then, i know that as long i am healthy and all, i am blessed. no one should be jealous at others because everyone is unique. =)

JULY

BON-ODORI! omg i started to think that why there are so many “first-times” in this year. this Bon odori was held at Meru Valley perak. not a very interesting one but the crowd was just so huge. Luckily Bii’s car has the access to go in so that we didnt have to walk so far away. i would say it’s a not-too-bad memory because we all followed the crowd to dance! it’s actually the most fun part of all =D

AUGUST

joined the Famine-30 camp at Beautiful Gate Kampar and count-down at Bukit Jalil. if there’s a chance, i would definitely join again. it’s very meaningful camp! i know how blessed i am when watching all the videos of all children in poverty. i promise to myself, when i start working and am financially stable, i would sponsor a kid like my dad and bro did. That would be the most meaningful money i ever spent in my life.  i will make this promise comes true. =)

siaopo gathering at KL!!! haha i really dont know why i love them so much to the extent i can cry for them. yes,it’s true. i did before. i forgotten the reasons but they were tears of happiness. they meant a lot for me. all words for them already been written down at my previous post. so i will save my words and save your time reading LOL.

SEPTEMBER

Malacca trip! after erm, 3 years+ ?  sister was the driver! me and gujie were just responsible to eat,sleep and walk. i think the Leong’s are born to be eater. my sis drove us to many small small lorong for hidden good food which are away from the jonker’s street. her friends recommended her before that thus we had the chance to taste them. ahh, i wish for another completely makan trip with them. we can really eat. at least 5 meals in a day! but travel ma, must like this one lol

OCTOBER

another Malacca trip with Bii and friends! full of photo takings! Kareena has been a very good host bringing us around Malacca! i miss the Mango Ice! Nyonya chang! seafood!! (i think i might as well turn my blog into a food  blog wtfreak always remember of good food only) oh yeah we even made new friends from Taiwan!! the couple are so friendly and we are still keeping in touch at Facebook. talking about fate and technology. =)

NOVEMBER

Moral campaign during the short sem! spent so much time sticking together to get the job done! building up the trees,making the souvenirs, recording the videos, rehearsal for sketch, woke up at 5 in the morning to prepare for the campaign. though it’s rushed to be done during short sem, it indeed made our short sem a productive one!! we even scored full marks for the campaign! all the hard work completely paid off

pre-graduation photo taking session! every now and then when im thinking of graduation,tears started to roll in my eyes. all the friends will be on their own paths at different places. when will i see stacy and sally who are far away at Johor again? Am i able to visit Sengguan and Kaeyuin who are at the kedah and penang? alex for seremban siew bao, drag qling to bukit tinggi from mentakab, taiping zoo with lai ching, chia from sarawak somemore! many  many friends i will miss. what i afraid of is the losing contact part. i know somehow it will happen to some of the friends, i just hope someday, they will remember me and drop me a message at Fb =)

hmm endless Ipoh trip during this short sem! we went to Kellies castle and guanyin cave. had dimsum as dinner too! i bet ky will miss the lau sha bao here hiak hiak hiak.

Perak cave with sg and stacy. it’s been a loooooooong time we never get on an outing together. this definitely one that made my heart contented. teheee

gunung lang! haha so memorable because we were trapped at the place due to the heavy storm until 7 at night. the sky turned dark and it’s really an eerie place to stay at night. soo quiet with dimmed lights. throw me there alone at night and i will cry myself to death. ==

DECEMBER

oh my big day. haha really thanks to everyone who gave me the surprise party and of course my Bii for everything. compared to year 1 when i was quite isolated from the crowd, i made more friends and lead a happier life. Bii actually helped in turning me a happier and more cheerful person compared to the past. i never had soooo surprise celebrations before. thanks <3

how can i forget the christmas celebration i had in KL with my better halves. best christmas celebration i had i because i never celebrated one every year just stayed at home wtfreak.

looking back 2010, this year has been the best year so far in my 22 years of life. though there were so much heart-wrenching incidents that teared me to sleep almost every night during that period , they made me a stronger person. once i was so devastated due to some family problems but all my soulmates held me up. Bii was there for me when i needed a shoulder to cry at. BFFs will be my listener when i had some conflicts with him. every incidents that happened polished my attitude towards everything. undeniably i have so many weaknesses that people around me might wanted to throw stones at me sometimes. but im glad they didnt and chose to be patient and gave me the chance to change.

over the year, i just want to say sorry to those that get offended by me without me noticing. i never intended to hurt anyone. and i want to thank those being the lighthouse that guided me through the darkness. you guys have made my 2010 a better year. <3
